Luminaire mural Hector Bibendum, avec interrupteur

The natural white finish blends into our hallway wall so well that guests keep asking where the light is actually coming from. The switch on the fixture itself is a small thing, but it beats fumbling for a pull cord in the dark.

The yellow cable was the detail that sold me, and it looks even better against the white finish once it’s on the wall. Flicking the switch feels solid and satisfying, and the whole thing has a pleasant weight that suggests it’ll last.

The handcrafted feel really comes through in the finish—it’s smooth and substantial, not at all like the mass-produced fixtures I’ve had before. The switched version is handy for the hallway, and the natural white shade throws a warm, even glow that I’m honestly a little obsessed with.
