Finally got my shades sitting flush on the fittings—this ring locks them on without any wobble. It’s a small thing, but the made-in-England quality shows in how precisely it threads; took me under a minute to install.
The machined finish is so clean it looks invisible once the shade is seated, which is exactly what I wanted for our brass pendant. Took maybe two minutes to swap out the old fitting and everything sits rock-solid now.
