We mounted it on the brick wall by our back door and the warm LED glow spills beautifully across the patio at night, exactly the offset effect we hoped for. Being handcrafted and safe for outdoor use was the clincher for us, and the finish has held up through a week of rain so far without a mark.
The handcrafted feel is obvious the moment you touch the shade—you can tell real care went into it. I mounted it on our covered porch and the warm LED glow looks just as good outdoors as it does in the hallway.
The offset design throws light in a way that makes our hallway feel taller, and the handcrafted finish is flawless up close. It’s equally at home outside by the door as it is indoors, which sold me. Just wish I’d bought two.
