Mounted two of these either side of the fireplace and the warm light they throw is exactly what that corner needed. The little switch on the base is handy too, means I didn't have to rewire anything to get them working independently.
The solid brass feels genuinely weighty in hand, and it throws a warm pool of light right where I read in the evenings. Wiring it to a dimmer was straightforward and it handles both indoor and covered outdoor spots without fuss.
Finally found a wall light that works in our hallway and the living room both. The shade throws a really warm, even glow that makes the space feel instantly cozier. Installation was straightforward and the finish looks far more expensive than what I paid.
