Mounted this on the porch facing the sea, and the way the glass diffuses the light at dusk is exactly the moody harbor glow I was after. The brass fittings feel properly weighty, and you can tell it's hand-finished—there’s a subtle unevenness to the lantern shape that makes it feel authentic.
I was a little worried about how it would look against our brickwork, but the brass and glass cast a lovely warm glow at dusk. It's solidly built and the handcrafted English quality is obvious the moment you pick it up.
