The handcrafted brass feels genuinely solid, and the brushed finish hides fingerprints better than I expected. I put one on each side of the bed and the reading light is plenty without being harsh. Took about twenty minutes to wire up, though the instructions were a bit thin.
The wall light casts such a warm, even glow in our hallway that I've caught myself just standing there admiring it. You can tell it's properly made in England—the ceramic shade feels substantial and the whole piece has a lovely weight to it.
